November 16, 1612 [at sea]
In the morning the wind at northeast verie faire sun shining but the weather cold. The night verie faire, the wind at southeast. Being to the southward of the cape at Francis but being mistaken, we thought [ourselves] still to be in the Bay of Trinitie . ... we [would] have come back again [to Cupers Cove] very well if we had not been mistaken.
Guy's entry for this date.
