| November 15, 1612 [at sea]
In the morning the wind at south and be east with Fogg until 10 of the clock then the sun shininge but afterwards with very much wind until night. Also all the night a verie great storm of wind and raine, the wind at west. And [we] could bear no sail but hulled all night the Sea being very wrought. This night by force of the current, we were put to the southwards of Cape Saint Francis where we made accompt that we had bin between Backalo and Trinitie, so we were deceived.
