In the morning the wind at west north west. Much wind and very sharp and cold all the day. Freezing hard all this morning. The sun shining very pleasant most part of the day but thawing very little.

About 4 of the clock it did begin to snow, the wind blowing very hard until night ... but, about 2 of the clock, ... it did snow very thick until morning. The night very myld and not cold.
