In the morning the wind at south south east. Beginning to snow very Thick for the pace of 2 hours and, afterwards, it did begin to Raine very fast until noon which consumed all the snow which did fall this morning.
About 4 of the clock in the after noon the wind blowing hard at south until night and, at 5 of the clock, [it] began to snow which ... did not continue long. This night the wind at west, freezing very hard all the night and snowing something thick against the morning.
