In the morning the wind at west, Freezing verie hard until noon. The sun shining very pleasant and warm, thawing verie much in the sun, which hath consumed all the snow upon the open ground and most part of the woods.
This day our governor went off to Avon Hill to seek for Red berries for our sick men but could find none.
This night the wind at west south west and it freezed after midnight. [There was] a little frost against the morning but not much.
