In the morning the wind at east. Little wind until noon, the weather close. Freezing a little [by] which our little pond and the harbour was creamed over with ice.
In the afternoon, a Fresh gale of wind at east with verie faire sun shining until night. And the sun verie warme but, [away] from the sun, it did freeze all the day, the sky being verie clear.
The night very cold, Freezing very hard all the night, the wind at north east. In the morning ther was a cream of Ice all this Bay over within the Burnt Head.
