In the morning the wind at north west, not much wind [and] little cold. Freezing a little but the sun shining very faire all the day which did thaw verie much where they had her power.
A very pleasant day to the contentment of all our people, which, [were it] in England, it could not be mylder.
The wind, at about 3 of the clock in the afternoon, at west and so it did continue all the night but not much wind, Freezing something hard until the morning.
