| October 19, 1612 [near Catalina]
In the morning the winde at northwest, much wind but faire sun shining. This morning we departed againe from Green Bay [Bay de Verde] for to get [into] the Bay of Trinitie but the wind coming more at west in the afternoon cold.
[We] recovered under a land near unto an Island called Saint Cattlins. In this place where we ankered under the high land was a great heap of stones made up like unto a chapel. We had this night a Reasonable gale of winde. The night proving reasonable Faire.
