In the morning the wind at east, little wind. The sun shining very pleasant all the forenoon and warm. In the after noon [it was] extreme warm which did revive all our sick people very much [and] dissolv[ed] the snow verie much, the sun being of such force.
This night came Master Teage and Master [Thomas] Willoughby from Brigus. Watching there all the night, ...[they] had there killed a Fox and 3 partridges.
This night very cold, freezing very hard after midnight, the wind at east south east.
