In the morning the wind at west, little wind. Something cold but the sune shining verie pleasant. The after noone [was] something warme which did desolve the snowe very much and a very pleasant daye.
This after noone William Glissen did take some 4 or 5 troutes in our brook hard by the house.
This night yt did freeze something hard, the wind at west southwest [and] little wind all the night.
