In the morning the wind at east. About 6 of the clock it did begin to snow, and rain, and sometimes hail, but about 9 of the clock it did begin to snow verie thick and so continued until night. ...[There] did fall at least 2 inches and a half thick of snow upon the ground.
Close weather all the day. In the after noon, some showers of rain with the wind at east south east until night. All the night the wind at west south west. Verie cold and freezing verie hard until it was day.
