In the morning the wind at North west, verie cold, freezing verie hard but the sun shining verie pleasant all the day until night and warme, thawing where the sun had some power.
After it was night it did begin to be myld, the wind at west south west. About 4 of the clock in the night it did begin to snow verie thick and so [it] continued until 7 or 8 of the clock in the morning [by] which [it was] about one inch thick.
