In the morning little wind at southwest. Verie myld weather, the sun shining until 2 of the clock, then the weather something close. Thawing very fast, consuming the greater part of the snow on the ground.
At this Instant were some 20 or 22 of our people sick in this country, [the] disease, the scurvy.
At 3 of the clock it did begin to rayne and so continued until night but, after 8 of the clock at night, [it] began to rayne verie fast until it was midnight and at 4 of the clock in the morning [it] began to snow verie thick till it was day. Against the morning [it was] about one inch thick on the ground.
This night our goat house did fall down and killed 2 goats.
