December 19, 1612

In the morning the winde at south west, verie little wind but verie cold Freezing verie hard and Close weather until noone. The sun showing herselfe and the afternoon something milder weather with little wind at the west. About 4 of the Clock it began to snow very fast and so it continued until it was midnight with a fresh gale of wind and some 2 hours before day it did begin to to thaw verie Fast.

This evening master Teage killed a gray Fox which he found had killed 2 of our goats being then feeding on one of them. This night the winde at southwest and south south west.
