In the morning the wind at west northwest. Little wind but Faire sun shining all the day, Freezing verie hard all the day until night. This day, after dinner, our boat departed for Green Bay to Coast [search] for some deer and to bring home our Canoe which was left at Perlican. There are gone some 6 of our men. This night verie little wind butt a verie hard Frost. [It was] Frozen so Far out in the harbour as the Spectacles.
