| November 20, 1612 [at Green Bay/Bay de Verde]
In the morning ... having doubled Cape St. Francis, the wind at south and south west with verie much Rayne and much wind. [We] not being able to recover any harbour in the Bay of Consumption ... were forced this evening to put back for Green Bay and ankered in the same place at the easter part where we lost before our anker. Riding there all night with a great storm of wind in great fear our cables or anker would have Failed.
Guy's entry for this date.
