Guy's entry for this date.
The sound into which the Indeavour sailed on October 24, 1612 was Dildo Arm. She anchored at the bottom of the arm where the town of South Dildo stands today. The colonists named the arm Savage Bay and the place where they anchored Savage Harbour. To view a panorama of Dildo Arm taken by William Gilbert in January 2005 click Here.
