In the morning the wind at west and so [it] continued until night. Verie faire weather, the sun shining verie faire all the day.

This day came one Master Rice of Bristol who fisheth at Belle Isle. He brought us a hogshead of beer which he bestowed on us.

This night very myld and [a] little wind at southwest.
