In the morning the wind at southwest, something sharp and cold until it was noon but the sun shining verie pleasant and warm [so] that, in the after noon, the sun thawed verie much in the open places. The wind blowing something hard.
This after noon some of our people with a boat went for Harbour de Grace to seek for scurvy grass for [those of] our company which are sick. This night the wind at south west, very myld weather.
