In the morning the wind at west and be north. Little wind but an extreme sharp cold, the sun shining verie pleasant all the day. Freezing verie hard until night, the weather being verie clear.
This morning [we] delivered unto the governor the black Fox skin and the grey skin of the Fox which were verie fair and excellent good. ...All the night Freezing verie hard, the wind still at west and be north. The fresh water lake between the Fort and the house [was] all frozen over.
